Brokers can view & change the default settings in Matrix for the Attribution choices by following these steps:

1. Click Input
2. Under Office, enter the Office ID, click Edit
3. Click Attribution Contact
   • Select up to 2 maximum Attribution Types 
     • Office Email and Office Phone are checked by default. Keep or change what is selected.
   • Select Yes or No (default) to Allow Agent Overrides (per listing)
4. Click Submit Office
5. Repeat for each Branch Office ID
   • View all Branch Offices by pointing to Search – Office – Our Branch Offices

If Agent Overrides are allowed, the Input Screen – Agent Info tab will display what the broker defaults and display a box for the agent to enter different contact information if desired.

NAR Internet Data Exchange (IDX) Policy Statement 7.58 and VOW Policy Statement 7.91: IDX and Vow Broker Attribution. Require that participants’ IDX displays must identify the listing firm and an email or phone number provided by listing participant in a reasonably prominent location and in a readily visible color and typeface not smaller than the median used in the display of listing data. The same standard would also apply to VOWs but is optional.
