Update on NAR's Multiple Listing Options for Sellers Policy

A brief update to our email on April 10.  Following NAR’s March 25th announcement of the Multiple Listing Options for Sellers Policy  - Delayed Marketing Exempt Listing (DMEL), the MLS Now team began working closely with NAR to understand the policy and plan a smooth rollout. Those efforts continue with vendors, NAR, Staff, and our Board of Directors (BOD).

While we are still targeting the September 30th deadline, a release date for our market has not yet been established, as we continue to evaluate the policy, technology, forms, and new activity in the industry.  Our Board of Directors is involved in and understands the policy, and we are working together to implement the best model and date of release.

As with past changes, we will continue to keep you informed and are available for office visits to support your preparation. The various elements of the policy have some in our industry confused - we are here to support you and your teams and help you navigate through the entire process/policy.

For more details, please review NAR’s FAQ and infographic and the MLS Now Website.

We’re committed to a seamless transition and will share updates as we finalize next steps.

Best regards,
Garry Marsoubian
