There are two options to display MLS listings on websites

  1. Use Matrix to choose search options (by criteria, map, open houses, agents) and color scheme that will be used on a basic search screen and listing displays. Directions are below.
  2. Use RETS to have your vendor design the search options and listing displays for your website.  Contact your vendor who will register through Trestle.  Contact us with questions.

IDX (Internet Data Exchange) links can be used to show MLS listings on a website for an individual, office, or company. This is setup in Matrix by doing the following:

  1. Click the Utility menu (your name at the top right corner).
  2. Click
  3. Click IDX
  4. Click Create a New IDX
  5. Enter a Name for this page (example: Office Listings or Search MLS properties).
  6. Choose a Form Selection
    1. Search – allows a user to enter specific criteria to find only certain
    2. My Listings – only shows a select list of properties based on the Search Form selection of My OnMarket Listings, My Office On Market Listings or My Company Listings.
    3. Map Search – allows a user to find listings in an area on the
  7. Click IDX
  8. Select
  9. Click 

There will now be HTML code (in the Activation section) that can be copied and pasted into the website design or sent to your website vendor to set up for you. You may also want another link on your website. If so, follow the steps again and create another new IDX page with a new name.
