How to Place an Agent's License in Escrow and Maintain MLS Access

## Placing a License in Escrow with Continued MLS Access

If an agent wants to place their license in escrow but continue supporting the office with view-only MLS access, there are specific documentation requirements.

### Two Options for Agents Going Inactive:

**Option 1: Remove MLS Access Completely**
**Option 2: Switch to Unlicensed Support Status** (view-only MLS access)

---

## Option 1: Remove MLS Access

### Required Documents:
- Completed Roster Change Form
- Copy of the executed form that was mailed to the Ohio Division of Real Estate (ODRE) with the license

### How to Submit:
Email both documents to: membership@mlsnow.com

This will remove the agent's MLS access completely.

---

## Option 2: Switch to Unlicensed Support Status

If the agent needs to continue viewing the MLS to support office operations (such as supporting an office manager), they can be switched to "unlicensed support" status.

### Required Documents:
1. Completed Roster Change Form
2. **Verification from the Ohio Division of Real Estate (ODRE)** stating that the license is inactive

**Important:** The executed form that you mailed to the Division is NOT sufficient for unlicensed support status. You must provide official documentation from ODRE confirming the inactive license status.

### How to Obtain ODRE Verification:
- Contact the Ohio Division of Real Estate
- Request documentation showing the license is in inactive/escrow status
- This may be a letter, certificate, or screenshot from ODRE's system

### How to Submit:
Email to membership@mlsnow.com:
- Completed Roster Change Form
- ODRE verification of inactive license status
