MLS Now members have two different ways to display MLS listings on their website. They work very differently, so it's important to understand which option is right for you before getting started.
Option 1: Matrix IDX Link (Quick & Basic)
Matrix has a built-in IDX tool that lets you create a public search page hosted by Matrix. You can embed this into your website using an iFrame code snippet. This is the simpler option — no third-party vendor needed — but the search experience looks like Matrix and has limited customization.
This works well for agents who want a quick solution and don't need a fully branded search on their site. Note that Squarespace and some other website builders have limited iFrame support depending on your plan.
How to Set Up a Matrix IDX Link
- Log in to Matrix and click your name in the top right corner (the Utility menu).
- Click IDX.
- Click Create a New IDX.
- Enter a name for the page (e.g., "Search MLS Listings" or "Office Listings").
- Choose a Form Selection:
- Search — lets visitors search by criteria
- My Listings — shows only your active listings
- Map Search — lets visitors search by drawing on a map
- Click IDX Select, then check IDX Enabled.
- Click Save.
An HTML embed code will appear in the Activation section. Copy and paste this into your website or send it to your web developer.
Option 2: Trestle IDX Data Feed (Full-Featured & Professional)
Trestle is CoreLogic's data licensing platform — it's how MLS Now delivers a full IDX data feed to approved third-party IDX vendors. Those vendors (such as IDX Broker, Showcase IDX, iHomefinder, and others) use the feed to power a professional, fully branded property search experience on your website.
This is what most agents mean when they say "IDX on my website." The listings display under your own branding, with full search filters, map views, saved searches, and lead capture — all integrated into your site. This option works cleanly with Squarespace, WordPress, and most website platforms.
The process is started by your IDX vendor, not by you directly. Here's how it works:
- Choose an IDX vendor and sign up with them. The vendor will register through Trestle and select the appropriate data feed and pricing.
- You (the broker) will receive an approval email from Trestle via Authentisign (secure@authentisign.com). Review and approve the request.
- The request is then automatically routed to MLS Now for final approval.
- Once approved, your vendor sets up the search widgets and provides embed code for your website.

Which Option Should I Use?
If you just need a simple search link or listing display and want to set it up yourself today, use Option 1 (Matrix IDX). If you want a professional, branded IDX search experience embedded in your website — especially on Squarespace — go with Option 2 (Trestle + IDX vendor).
