Map Search by Boundary

Matrix added a new feature on Map Searches after a Layer/Boundary is selected to “Select Layer as Shape”.

  1. In Matrix, select Search - Residential (or another property type)
  2. Enter basic criteria like Sub Type, Price, etc
  3. Click Map Search to leave the criteria screen and view the map

  1. Click the Layers icon and check Neighborhood (or city, zip, etc) mceclip2.png

  2. The outlines will display on the map for the selected Boundaries and the new hand icon appears at the top of the map next to the circle icon. You may need to first move the map and/or zoom in to have the shapes you want to use in your search visible on the map.
  1. Click the hand icon (as you hover over it you will see the Tooltip “Select Layer as Shape”)
  1. Click inside an outlined shape on the map (or several)

  1. If you would like to choose a different layer, click the Layers icon and check a new boundary.
  1. Click the hand icon and select additional outlined shapes if you
    1. To remove a selected shape, click the red circle on that shape then choose Delete Shape
    2. To remove all shapes (and start over), click the eraser icon at the top of the map mceclip5.png
