What Is CDOM?

CDOM stands for Cumulative Days on Market. It tracks the total number of days a property has been actively listed in Matrix — across all listing periods, even if the property was temporarily taken off market and re-listed.

When Does CDOM Reset?

CDOM resets to zero when a property has been continuously off the market for 45 or more days. That means the earliest you can re-list is on the 46th day after going off market. If you re-list before that point, the new listing will carry forward the previous CDOM count.

Example

If your listing went off market on March 15, day 45 off market falls on April 29 — still inside the window. The first day CDOM resets is April 30 (the 46th day). Re-listing on April 29 or earlier means the old CDOM carries over.

Tips

  • The 45-day count begins the day after the listing goes off market.
  • Status changes like Withdrawn, Expired, or Sold all start the clock — the key is that the property must be off the active market for the full 45 days before the 46th day re-list.
  • If you are unsure about your specific situation, contact MLS Now staff before re-entering the listing.
